What to Expect
We look forward to getting to know you at Southport Presbyterian Church. Our traditional worship gathering is at 9:00 AM and our contemporary service is at 11:00 AM on Sundays. In each service, we’ll sing songs that help us to glorify God and celebrate the work of Jesus Christ. We have a high view of the Bible and we like to keep the gospel central. We don’t have a dress code but you’ll see everything from suits and ties to very casual.
We invite you to bring your children with you to worship, however, we do offer children’s ministry birth through 5th grade during both services. On the 5th Sunday of every month, we give our teachers are a break and only offer care for children birth through pre-K. Our junior and senior high students meet during the 9:30 worship gathering.
On your first visit, our gift to you will include a homemade apple pie. If you will bring your Connection Card to the welcome desk in the gathering area, our welcome team will answer any questions you have about Southport Pres and send you home with a fresh baked apple pie. We hope to see you on Sunday!
We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month during our worship gatherings; everyone who is a follower of Jesus is invited to participate.
