Our stream in on the move!!!
We know that many have grown familiar with navigating to our YouTube channel and the idea of having to go somewhere else to stream our services might be annoying.
Why would we do such a thing?
We understand and want you to know that by moving to our very own web page (https://southportpres.org), we will avoid the risk of YouTube inserting advertisements into the middle of our worship services (something they are allowed to do…and will do often). It has the added bonus that all the internet traffic will travel to our web page (complete with loads of other information that is useful for visitors and regular attenders alike).
Along with this, it has tons of other “bells and whistles” that make our Director of Communications (Matt Evans) super happy…full analytics, publishing control, centralized comms structure, app boosting.....all the things that make non-communication folks go crossed-eyed.
Why do I do now?
Well...I guess prepare and wait. You will want to take a moment to in the next week or so to navigate to our web page from whatever device you use to steam our worship. A computer and/or tablet is easy-peasy...but a smart TV may be just a smidge more difficult (initially). If you find you need help, let us know office@southportpres.org.
But wait, there's more
Perhaps one of the slickest part of this is the our stream is not available on our app...on your phone. Now, when you are traveling (whenever that happens again), you still be able to join your church family.
