Summer Sunday School Updates

Hello families!  We are thankful for the warm weather and looking forward to fun summer activities.

Since summer is a busy time, we like to give our elementary teachers some time off.  Sunday School runs a little differently in the summer, let us tell you what you can expect.

Summer Classes:

• Summer Sunday School is May 30 through July 25.
• The infants through pre-k classrooms are open as normal during the 11 o'clock worship service.  Classrooms are located in the upstairs hallway.
• Elementary classes will be dropped off and picked up in the Loft located upstairs during the 11 o'clock worship service.

Current/graduating Fifth Grade Students:

• Fifth grade celebration will be held on July 25th in Sunday School during the 11 o'clock worship service.  Graduates will receive their own ESV Student Bible for their next step into Jr. High Ministry.
• August 1 through September 12, the Jr. High Ministry will host a transition class during the 11 o'clock worship service.

Promotion Day:

• Incoming Kindergarten and elementary students will promote to their new class beginning August 1.
• Sunday School will be open during 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services.

Mask update (5/20/21):

• Kids will be required to wear masks until CDC guidance states otherwise.
• Vaccinated teachers will be encouraged to wear a mask in the presence of children.
• Unvaccinated adults and teens will be required to wear a mask in the presence of children.
