3 B's of Small Groups, Part 1
Our small group ministry exists to enable the people of Southport Presbyterian Church to grow as disciples of Jesus and to serve others in the context of relationships. A small group is a place to Belong, Bless, and Become.
What does it mean to Belong? In Acts 2:42-47, we get a window into the life of the early Church. What we find is a community of believers where everyone had a seat at the table and a role to play. While faith is personal, it was never meant to be private. We are created to know and worship God in a place where we are known by others. One thing you can expect from a small group is to "get to know the people you go to church with." The gospel is experienced in the context of community.
