Let's Meet
If you’ve spent much time at Southport Pres. over the last 8+ years, you’ll know that our congregational meetings can feel more like a celebration and less like a meeting. They’ve included meals, flash mobs, elaborate games, bouncy houses and even a concert. We’ve shared stories of God’s faithfulness and noticed the ways He has worked and moved in and through us.
If you’ve spent much time at Southport Pres. over the last 8+ years, the reason for this movement is that our meetings are meant to celebrate what God has done and what we anticipate Him doing…so it only follows to include things like meals, games, concerts and most of all, time talking about what God’s done and anticipating what He’ll be doing.
What about this year?
Our time together will be keeping the heartbeat of our past. While the games and meals may not be present, our focus on the work and movement of God will still take center stage.
We will be meeting June 16th to talk about what God’s done and about what we think He’s doing.

- Land sale, building maintenance, and mortgage
- Staff salary plan and vote on pastors’ terms of call
- Five-year financial projection
- Session resizing recommendation and vote
- Church revitalization project
